Meow all! I'm Spottie, a smart black Italian stray. Well ...I'm black, anyhow. I was born... let me think... huh, I'm not sure. My human think my first birthday is on September 10, 1998. However that may be, one day I awoke in her house to find myself in a red plastic box. An old jersey wrapped round me. Yowl ...what's happened? She said me: "Why, still alive little spud? Welcome back!". You know? I was a lot confused! Mom? Brothers? Where did my family end up? It turned out I had been rescued from a garbage can, sick and undernourished... The poor thing! You'll see, misfortunes never come alone. Humans are depraved creatures: people of this kind do incredibly perverted things. They're called "vets". Don't ask! Luckily, things are going much better now. Yes, it took me several months to train my human, but at least she understood how to attend to my wants. If she behaves properly, I purr. If not, I scratch to let her know I'm getting bored. Honestly, my play-time is all just taken up. I'm an experienced practitioner of fly catching and tinfoil ball chasing. Let me say I'm a greedy eater, too: be a cat is hungry work. Yawwnn! Well, you know ...time to sleep, now. 'Bye and remember: leave the cat alone!

NEW!! DannyT has rescued another cat, its name is Roy but she's still searching the previous owner.
Roy was in the middle of a street, dirty and hungry but as you can see now he feel better ;)

Merlino is the striped grey/black one (pictures on the left) together with Artù (the cream-colored) in the right upper picture; they are the most domestic among all my cats.
Brother Giaino (a.k.a. Ginetto) is the striped in the right lower picture: he lives in the garden and come home in the evening (for its dinner? .... what do you think?).

Pelo: is the first cat arrived in our home. It is 2 years old, male, and now it weigh more than 5 kgs.
When I had some parrots, at meal time it was standing under the cage looking at the birds and mewing just to remember me that he was hungry and if I would not provide its food, it would do it by itself.....

Pulce: it's one year old (male) and is a shy guy. It stays at least 5 meters away from humans! (when it's very hungry it bears also some strokes....).
We found it in our yard and we named it Urlo (Howl) because we could hear it mewing even if we was 100 meters far from it... The name has been changed to Pulce because it's a "neutral" name (it's difficult to establish the sex of a cat when it is 5 meters away...)
Today you can understand that it's a male cat just looking at its nose: the signs of the first scuffles are there!

Pepita: (not shown yet)10 months old, female. It's our grey tiger ... from the day it started living with us, we had no peacefulness!
Never leave any food unguarded when it's around, it would disappear in an instant (it has eaten also one boiled potato with all the peel after it has finished eating its food!!!).
It starts its meals eating from the other cat's bowls and then it continue with its own bowl ...

This is Pepe, a lucky cat! It has been abandoned when it was a kitten but it has been welcomed in a family that spoil it in every way. Alfio and his wife supply the bottle caps that it loves to play with and surround it with peluches. Pepe is also a traveler and a sailor, it follow the family for the vacation in Sicily (more than 1000 Km by car!) and sail with Alfio on his sailboat. Its preferred pastime, especially by night, is to flush the toilet and he learned also how open the front door to visit the neighbors! If you happen near Ivrea and see a big red cat ramble with a leash, stop to say hello to Pepe, it will reward you with a friendly Purrrr.
